I'm seeing much more Bush support than Kerry support.
Gonna be an interesting night to see how things go, especially as the initial counts come in.

personal observation instead of exit polls, I literally saw someone hold their nose when they voted on that first page.....
usually I would say may the best man win
with today's candidates it is a hearty "May the worst man lose"

Done. No prob. Waited only 5 minutes. Wasn't challenged, although there was a guy in the back flipping between two lists, checking one against the other. Hmmmm.....
Glad you survived your confrontation Aurora, sounds like a nightmare.

Oh yes, a nightmare indeed.
Might have been different were I not white in a suburb, clearly familiar with the polling place, and yelling hi to neighbors on my way up the walkway.
Anyway, for all you Bush supporters here, you might not want to click this link:zogby's latest

OK, voting done. There was a long line outside of the building but a short one inside for my ward. Good thing too, it was chilly out there.

My off-white sport coat was already getting too warm at 7:00 this morning when I was in line.

Voted this morning around 9 a.m.
KP violated federal statutes by voting at my (formerly our) polling place; he has not resided here in over 7 months but was too busy making plans with the homewrecker to change his voting registration.
The voting monitor was cleverly disguised and worded their initial "challenge" very well; she said as I entered, "Do you know which side of the room to go to?" (There are two polling places where I vote, one for if you live on one side of a street and the other for if you live on the other side, and they are set up on the right or left side of the room as you enter.) I said, yes, I go to the left if they have it set up the way they usually do - and she said, yes, I understand it is set up the usual way, and she seemed satisfied and did not detain me any more.
Then we went out to eat breakfast, renewed our YMCA membership and went shopping. We did our part to stimulate the economy on this election day!
I voted FOR issue 11 (local school levy). Actually, usually I vote to raise my taxes most of the time, but this time there were two items I might not have supported but the thought of voting to raise millage on KP and OW's fancy new expensive house kind of tickled my fancy.
